Hampton Behavioral Health Center is seeking dynamic and talented Psychiatric Certified Nurse Practitioner. Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a private behavioral healthcare center and offers the most advanced behavioral health, diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents and older adults in both inpatient and outpatient programs. A commitment to excellence in diagnosis, treatment and education - these concepts are at the core of Hampton Behavioral Health Center's mission. In the Hampton Counseling Center our dedicated, professionally licensed therapists facilitate group therapy focusing on a variety of mental health topics including recovery, relapse prevention and coping skills. Our goal is to reduce the negative symptoms of mental illness and help stabilize individuals in order to live safe and productive lives. The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing medical evaluation and treatment for Hampton Counseling Center patients in collaboration with and under the direction of the Supervising Physician. The APN performs duties according to standardized procedures which have been developed collaboratively by Hampton Behavioral Health Center administration, medical staff, nursing, Supervising Physician, and approved by the Medical Executive Committee and the Governing Board. The APN is a registered nurse who possesses additional preparation and skills in physical diagnosis, psycho-social assessment, and management of health-illness needs. The APN assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients, provides information to patients on health maintenance and disease prevention, and counseling. The APN provides healthcare in a collegial relationship with physicians to patients at Hampton Behavioral Health Center.

Qualifications:
Qualifications/RequirementsCurrent APN license in the state of New Jersey Psychiatric Certification required Nurse Practitioner certification by the New Jersey Board of Registered Nursing. National Certification by recognized board- American Nurses Credentialing Center or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Minimum of one year experience functioning in a Nurse Practitioner role. Furnishing privileges and DEA license with the New Jersey Board of Registered Nursing. Demonstrated knowledge of psychiatric illnesses including addictions. Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate Demonstrated ability to manage patient's health and illness Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, manage time, and prioritize work in collaboration with others. Demonstrated ability to be self directed, and motivated. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team.
