Nurse Practitioner - Family Medicine (Float)

Practice Description:
As an employed Nuese Practitioner in the Float Pool for Fairview Health Systems, you will have a unique opportunity to experience working at any one of the 40 M Health Fairview Clinics. Responsibilities: Site specific assignments can vary; however, you will work at one primary care clinic location for approximately 3 month assignments, with ample notification on any assignment changes.Fill in for physicians on leaves of absences, or in clinics with vacancies.Outpatient clinic only responsibilities.No call is required.Monday - Friday, days hours and no evening or weekend hours.Patient encounters average between 18 - 22 in an 8 hour shift.Full time or Part time opportunities available.Participation in monthly clinic meetings.Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).Income Details: Salaried positionComprehensive benefits package: generous time off and CME allowance, malpractice insurance (includes tail coverage), retirement contributions, & more.

Qualifications:
Graduate of a school of nursing and accredited Family Nurse Practitioner training program.BC/BE through the AANP or ANCC.Licensed or ability to obtain APRN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing.Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required).
