Nursing Assistant, Gagnon 5, MMC

Overview:
Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Nursing Assistant for the Cardiac Unit- Gagnon 5 at Morristown Medical Center to work 7PM-7AM including every other weekend.

Responsibilities:
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient careAssisting patients with daily activitiesMeasuring and recording vital signsAdministering basic treatmentsHelping to ensure a safe care environmentContinuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are metEnsuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitudeGood communication skillsMust be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills

Qualifications:
Minimum Education:High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum Experience:1 year experience in Acute Care preferredEpic experienceLicense/Certifications:BLS preferred CNA preferred
