Opening soon, Granite Hills Hospital will offer high-quality, patient centered behavioral health care for the greater Milwaukee community. Our 120-bed facility will feature evidence-based treatment for adolescents, adults, and older adults. We are looking for looking for Part Time Night Registered Nurses (RN) to join our new team. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care for behavioral health patients ranging from adolescent through geriatric. This position also assesses mental health needs, develops nursing diagnoses, identifies outcomes, plans and evaluates nursing care. In addition, this position monitors the effects and side effects of medications and treatments ordered by a physician, and ensures the safety and provides milieu management and crisis intervention strategies. Qualifications:
The RN position requires: Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred. Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.Licensure: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Wisconsin required.Additional Requirements: CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint within 30 days of employment. Successful completion of CPI training and Service Excellence Training within 90 days of employment. Certifications may be obtained during new hire orientation.
