Northwestern Medical Group (NMG) and Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University is seeking a full-time surgeon at the rank of Assistant or Associate professor (non-tenure eligible). Northwestern University and Northwestern Memorial Hospital are both highly ranked nationally and the Division of Vascular Surgery is also part of the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute which is the highest ranked heart and heart surgery program in Illinois and surrounding states.

Primary responsibilities include providing the full breadth of vascular surgery services in Northwestern Medicine’s Central and North regions and includes shared service call, rounding and caring for pre-op and post-op patients in concert with the clinical team, and responding to local consultation requests and referrals. This position will support the continued expansion of the comprehensive vascular program in the North Region.

Qualified candidates must have a strong background in clinical vascular and endovascular surgery, have completed an ACGME-accredited vascular surgery fellowship/residency program, and are board-eligible or board certified in vascular surgery. Vascular surgeons in this position will participate in academic programs of the Feinberg School of Medicine, including educational programs (didactic teaching, resident training, preceptorship, and mentoring) or research programs (participation in clinical trial and involvement in the Vascular Quality Initiative database). Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes excellent healthcare and retirement benefits. The preferred start date is March 1st, 2023
