Assistant/Associate/Professor in Residence (Orthodontics)

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Assistant/Associate/Professor in Residence (Orthodontics), School of Dental Medicine [R0133911].

This Assistant/Associate/Professor in Residence non-tenuretrack position is for faculty with experience and expertise in the areas of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Responsibilities include didactic, seminar, and clinical responsibilities, curriculum and program design and implementation, as well as research opportunities and supervision expected, all primarily directed at the postdoctoral level.

Research responsibilities include serving on Research Thesis Committees, and collaborating with the UNLV research community at large. In addition, advising and mentoring students will be a major responsibility.

This position requires a D.M.D. or D.D.S from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and ABO Board certification.

Must be eligible for licensure in Nevada. Must have three or more years of teaching experience in a Masters level Orthodontic education environment. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment.
