General Pediatricians - Clinical Associates
The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of Academic Pediatrics, seeks Clinical Associates at 100% effort for a renewable two-year term. The appointees will have strong primary care skills and possess excellent communication skills. Direct patient care responsibilities include managing patients with general and complex pediatric needs. Limited off-hours and occasional weekend coverage are expected. Primary clinical placement is anticipated to be at the Friend and Family Center located in Hyde Park and may include other locations as needed. The positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent on qualifications. The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics is committed to providing superior, compassionate healthcare to all children. Our department includes more than 150 full time faculty members, clinical associates, and postdoctoral researchers. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics.
