Mid-Valley Gastroenterology is seeking a gastroenterologist to join the team in Corvallis, Oregon.  Based near Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, a level 2 trauma center, Mid-Valley GI provides the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range GI conditions including colon cancer screening, esophageal disorders, foregut disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, cirrhosis, functional syndromes, advanced endoscopic interventions, nutrition, and pancreaticobiliary care.

We provide GI specialty services to the mid-Willamette Valley and Central Oregon coast. Our skilled providers have a passion for building healthier communities through world-class, compassionate health care.

Job Specifics

• Join a congenial and collegial single specialty group of 5 physicians and 7 advanced practice providers with close ties to our hospital system
• Recruiting to replace retiring physicians
• Opportunity for partnership in one year with the ability to buy into a bustling endoscopy center
• Call is 1:7 (and with growth anticipated, potentially 1:8)
• Endoscopy days to clinic days 4:1
• Forward-thinking group with development of multiple ancillary service lines including infusion center, endoscopy, and diagnostics (ARM, esophageal manometry, Pillcam, Smartpill, Fibroscan)
• Experience in ERCP preferred, but not necessary. Opportunity for further mentorship and growth with advanced endoscopy
• Opportunity to engage with residents and medical students through Western School of Medicine

Requirements

• Board certified/board eligible in gastroenterology
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented
