Qualifications:


    Minimum of two years of experience in ICU/Emergency Room/Recovery Room or other critical care nursing environment
    Knowledge of State, Federal and Accrediting Body regulations and standards related to healthcare
    Knowledge of ASPAN Perianesthesia Nursing Standards
    Ability to achieve PALS & ACLS certification within 90 days of employment
    CPR valid upon employment
    Ability to relate and work effectively with others
    Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards
    Graduate of approved school of Registered Nursing with current and valid licensure with Texas State Board of Nursing or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date if a permanent resident of Texas)
    Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for own professional advancement
    Is aware of professional nursing standard and performs in accordance with them.
    8 hour shift available Monday through Friday
    Must be able to take call 1 day a week and work a late shift 1 day a week
