The Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine at the University of Washington, School of Medicine is recruiting for a full-time faculty member with a focus on Cardio-oncology. The position will be at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level, without tenure by reason of funding. Salary and academic appointment at University of Washington will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and academic rank. Assistant Professors WOT are eligible for multi-year appointments and Associate Professor and Full Professors WOT hold indefinite appointments that all align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.

Salary and academic appointment at University of Washington will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and academic rank. This position will be expected to engage in clinical activities including management of patients at risk for cardiotoxicity from cancer treatment, cardiovascular complications during cancer treatment, cardiovascular risk reduction in long-term cancer survivors, and multimodality cardiac imaging. The successful candidate will be expected to support the department's commitment to patient care, scholarship and medical education. This position will be expected to attend on clinical service and mentor trainees in cardio-oncology related projects. The anticipated start date will August 1, 2023.

The base salary range for this position will be $16,250-$33,333 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Other compensation associated with this position may include an administrative salary supplement (ADS), and incentive through UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan.

Applicants must have an MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and be board certified/eligible in electrophysiology.  Successful candidates must have an academic track record with evidence of publications. In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-US) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
