The Newton-Wellesley Hospital (NWH) Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a
supportive, multi-disciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality, family focused, evidence-based care. Our team includes mental health counselors, nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, social workers, psychologists, a medical assistant, and outstanding administrative support.

The primary responsibilities of this 0.6-1.0 FTE position will include providing diagnostic evaluation, consultation, and treatment in the outpatient setting. Time may be split between on-site and remote virtual visits. Depending on interest and experience, this position may also include working with the Child Psychiatry Consultation-Liaison team 1-2 days per week. Other opportunities may include supporting parents and local public schools through our community health initiative, The Resilience Project. Administrative and Education duties include serving on hospital committees, educational programs, and weekly team meetings for case review and quality assurance. There is also an opportunity to serve as preceptor for Tufts medical students, MGH pediatric residents, and Cambridge Health Alliance fellows in child psychiatry rotating at NWH. A faculty appointment, commensurate with experience, is available.

Candidates must be BE/BC in adult and child/adolescent psychiatry. Ideal applicants will have excellent communication skills in addition to expertise in child development and psychopharmacology. NWH is part of the Mass General Brigham system, providing the services and expertise of a major medical facility with the convenience and personal attention of a community hospital.

At NWH, we place great value on being a diverse and inclusive community. We are dedicated to diversity, equity and inclusion as we aim to reflect the diversity of the patients in our local communities. We believe in equal access to quality care, employment and advancement opportunities encompassing the full spectrum or human diversity: race, gender, sexual orientation, disability status, religion, ethnicity, national origin and all the other forms of human presence.
