The University of Michigan Department of Urology is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible candidate for a position within the Division of Andrology, General & Community Urology (AGC). This Assistant or Associate Professor appointment is on the University of Michigan Medical School Clinical Track. The selected candidate will work in the University of Michigan Health System clinics and operating rooms in Chelsea and Ann Arbor, Michigan and surrounding satellite locations.
The successful candidate will have a clinical focus in General Urology and provide clinical/surgical services for a total of four and a half days per week with 10% academic time (representing one half day) dedicated to professional development and publishing in the area of your interest. A portion of activities will involve the education of medical students, residents, fellows, and other allied health personnel within Urology and other departments.
The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the weekly Urology Grand Rounds.
The selected candidate will have completed a urology residency and must hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. Evidence of clinical competence is expected.
