Division of Urologic Oncology
The University of Michigan Department of Urology is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible candidate for a position within the Division of Urologic Oncology. This Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor appointment is on the University of Michigan Medical School Instructional Track with the potential for tenure in the future. The selected candidate is planned to have 2.5 days of clinical activity per week consisting of clinic and OR. The position will have 50% protected time for scholarship activities and robust Departmental support for the development of an externally-funded research program. Clinical practice can span the breadth of urologic oncology diagnoses, depending on the candidate's goals. The applicant must have a strong commitment to a career as a surgeon-scientist. A portion of activities will involve the education of medical
students, residents, fellows, and other allied health personnel within Urology and other departments.
The selected candidate will have completed a urology residency and Society of Urologic Oncology fellowship, and must hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. Evidence of clinical competence is expected.
