The University of Florida College of Dentistry invites applications and nominations for the Chair of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

This position will lead the education, research, service and patient care missions of the department.

The Chair is an integral part of the College of Dentistry’s administrative team and provides innovative leadership to ensure a culture of inclusive excellence, hospitality, collegiality, and collaboration.

Minimum qualifications include a DDS/DMD or equivalent degree, board

certification inOral andMaxillofacial Surgery, and demonstrated administrative

experience in an academic setting with a distinguished academic record that

would support appointment to the rank of associate or full professor.

Candidate would have teaching, research, clinical and service assignments

based on experience.
