The Department of Dermatology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine seeks clinicians and clinician-investigators holding MD, DO, MD/PhD or DO/PhD degrees for the position of Director of Pediatric Dermatology. This position will be open rank and open tenure status. Rank, salary, and tenure status commensurate with experience and qualifications. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in dermatology and pediatric dermatology, having completed fellowship training in pediatric
 dermatology, and eligible to be licensed in Alabama. Candidates must have strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, be highly motivated, and compassionate towards all patients. Candidates must demonstrate an outstanding record of accomplishment in patient care and teaching, as well as, a commitment to DEI. A record of accomplishment in research is valued, but not required.
