The Cardiovascular Institute and the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) are seeking candidates for a full-time academic faculty position in clinical cardiology to develop a busy and carried consultative practice. All applicants must be board certified or eligible in Cardiology, as well as eligible for Commonwealth of
Massachusetts medical licensure. Level 3 training in echocardiography referred. An academic teaching appointment at the level of Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School (HMS) will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities will include outpatient consultations on the main campus of BIDMC and possibly one its community sites, as well as attending on the cardiology inpatient or consult services and the Cardiac Direct Access Center. The applicant is expected to be actively engaged in teaching fellows, residents and medical students. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate seeking to develop an academic career in consultative cardiology within a quaternary referral center model.
