The Associate Medical Director will provide training and support to Providers interested in bringing the CRH O’Regan System into their practice as well as the Providers in one or more of the “Rapid Relief Clinics”.  Duties include but are not limited to providing educational lectures covering a host of topics including the non-surgical care of anorectal disorders and hands-on training in the use of the CRH O’Regan System.  This support will be offered to physicians, nurse practitioners and physicians assistants as well as to groups within educational institutions.  This will involve traveling to medical practices and educational institutions, obtaining and maintaining licensure in a number of states, and reporting to the Medical Director as required. This position requires a minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in a surgical or colorectal surgical practice with experience in caring for various anorectal disorders (both surgical and non-surgical)

 

  • Responsible for arranging travel to correspond with assigned training, support or lecture visits, preparing and submitting reports of said visits, addressing questions and providing support to trainees.
  • Partners with staffed providers, physician partners, Ambulatory Surgery Center administrative and clinical leadership and CRH ancillary and support leadership.
  • Cultivates and develops long-term professional relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Thinks critically and strategically regarding financial and business operations.
  • Analyzes issues or opportunities and provides viable solutions and alternatives.
  • Assists with the management of a variety and assortment of projects simultaneously and works with directors/executives at all levels both internal and external to the organization.
  • Completes and submit expense reports in a timely fashion in order to facilitate reimbursement for company expenses..
  • Ensures participation in relevant educational programs for sales staff and supervisory staff, current and prospective customers along with educational institutions..
  • Works collaboratively and cooperatively with leadership staff throughout the various surgery centers to resolve any clinical or operational issues and improve processes.
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
  • Obtain appropriate CME credits in order to maintain various medical licenses.
  • Addresses and thoroughly handles all patient complaints.
  • Works in collaboration with the Director of Operations and Director of Human Resources to research, understand and address any personnel issues or concerns.
  • Travel within the assigned territory as necessary and as needed to  meet with prospects/qualified leads to further develop interest
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Education & Qualifications:

Education: Doctor of Medicine or of Osteopathy, Completion of Surgical or Colorectal Surgical Residency Program

Licensure & Certifications:  License to practice medicine in at least 1 state
