Progressive Care nurses are the master coordinators of the unit, juggling care for their patients while keeping the entire health care team on the same page. They have high-level critical thinking skills, vast clinical knowledge, and are able to stay calm under pressure

About this unit:

• 36 Bed Unit, with 4:1 Nurse/Patient Ratio for Nights, with average stay of 2 to 7 days
• Working in a fast-paced, passionate, team-oriented environment, surrounded by critical thinkers.
• Variety of patients including Trauma, Stroke, Post Cath Lab Stint or Stemi, Drips, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Under the general direction of the Director, Manager or Nurse Manager, Registered Nurse(RN) coordinates and provides patient care and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care.

• Registered Nurse (RN)provides nursing care is in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice and the generic and unit structure standards

• Graduation from a school of nursing with either a Diploma, ADN or BSN
• Must hold a current RNlicense from the Missouri State Board of Nursing
• BLS certification upon hire
• ACLS certification with 6 months 1 year.
