Radiology Technologist - Gloucester

Position Summary:

Under general supervision of Manager, Chief Technologist (as applicable), and under the direction of a radiologist, can perform diagnostic general radiology, procedures on infant, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients on designated areas of the body as requested by a physician.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent

Successful completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program

One year working experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.

Certification/License: American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible; renewed annually

Massachusetts State License; renewed bi-annually

Basic Life Support (BLS); renewed bi-annually

Patient Age Served: Provides direct patient care to:

(if applicable) Neonates (under 1 month)

Pediatric (1 month to 12 years)

Adolescent (12-17 years)

Adult (18-64 years)

Geriatric (over 65 years)
