Physician Family Medicine with OB

CHRISTUS St. Vincent is seeking fulltime Family Medicine physician to work in our residency clinic caring for pediatric, OB, adult and geriatric patient populations. This physician will develop and document a plan of care for each patient, including a complete medical history, a physical examination, and diagnosis of the causes of injuries and illnesses, appropriate treatment and/or referral, and hospital visitations when necessary. Additionally this physician will make informed diagnostic and therapeutic decisions based on patient information, current scientific evidence, clinical judgment and patient preference. Other daily duties will include prescribing and performing competently all medical procedures considered essential for the scope of practice.

We are a not-for-profit integrated health system located in the beautiful mountain-west city of Santa Fe, New Mexico which sees over 300 sunny days per year, commute times under 15 minutes, and offers an abundance of outdoor activities as well as a thriving cultural, art, and music scene. Our 200 bed facility is a Level III trauma center, the only trauma center in Northern New Mexico, and serves a seven county area with over 300,000 residents.

Requirements


Education: Medical School graduate with a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree from an approved medical school, or possession of Standard Certificates as issued by the Educational Council for Foreign Medical Graduates. Active, unrestricted medical license in the state(s) of practice required.
