RN/Flex Staff Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Responsibilities:
RN / Registered Nurse Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU)Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is searching for a dynamic Registered Nurse to join the interdisciplinary team performing patient care on our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit is a 24 bed unit which provides critical care to patients who are at high risk for a variety of life-threatening conditions. The types of patients included in this population consist of the unstable, critical cardiac patient (acute congestive heart failure, potentially lethal arrhythmias, acute myocardial infarction, and complex unstable post-percutaneous intervention) as well as the critically ill medical-surgical patient. All patients admitted for induced hypothermia therapy for cerebral resuscitation following cardiac arrest are treated in this unit. This treatment, where the patients body is cooled to 91 degrees F for 24 hours, helps to reduce the risk of brain injury due to lack of oxygen. Qualifications:
