Tidelands Health a growing, multisite, not-for-profit health care system covering the Grand Strand has an exciting opportunity for a BC/BE Vascular Surgeon in Murrells Inlet, SC. In collaboration with MUSC, Tidelands Health is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to provide full-scope vascular surgery including open and endovascular procedures. The main practice is conveniently located on the campus of Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital with easy access to 8-operating rooms. The physician will be provided a robust recruitment package. Murrells Inlet, centrally located on the South Carolina coast, just south of Myrtle Beach, is a small peaceful village that is known as the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and is an ideal place for those who love to explore the outdoors. It offers small-town living and excellent school systems with the convenience of Charleston, SC just 1.5hr south and Raleigh/Charlotte, NC 3hrs north. Have it all with access to mountains, cities, and the ocean.



Position Detail:

• 100% vascular practice; no general surgery
• Call 1:4
• Primary outpatient clinic located on campus of Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital walk to the OR from the clinic!
• Friendly OR staff
• 2 GE OEC Elite C-arms
• Busy Vascular Lab 2 outpatient and 2 inpatient locations, performing non-invasive vascular studies for peripheral arterial and venous disease
• Brand new state-of-the-art angiography suite under construction for primary use by vascular surgery at Georgetown Memorial Hospital
• On-site wound-care clinic independently run by wound care physicians
• Critical care consulting service at both hospitals, with experienced critical care nurses in the ICU
• Rapidly growing community with large population of retirees with significant need for vascular surgery
