Summary of Essential Duties:
Perform pre-op and post-op calls with patients related to Pain Management procedures
Reconciliation of medications in collaboration with on-site Pharmacists
Provides direct and indirect care services for each clinical area of the department including perioperative, clinic, and triage.
Adheres to radiographic protective equipment while working intraoperatively.
Performs administration of moderate sedation and medicinal infusions while adhering to medication safety protocols.
Provide assistance during in-office procedures
Educate patients by phone and in-person regarding procedures, medications, side effects and other aspects of their treatment
Assoc. Degree/College Diploma
1 year - For external hires, acute care experience in their specialty for new hires.
Promotion to Clinical Nurse II is automatic after completion of one (1) year of clinical experience and a satisfactory performance appraisal at a Clinical Nurse I level.
California State RN License
BCLS Certification
Other Competencies, as required by your specialty unit (ex. ACLS, PALS, fetal heart monitoring)
