You will be responsible for all aspects of the Egnyte Event experience: building a strategy that engages Egnyte customers and attracts new prospective customers at a global scale, amplifying the Egnyte brand and generating sales pipeline. You will be responsible for researching, planning, executing, and all the logistics from concept to execution, including budget management, reporting and optimizing future activations.

What You'll Do:
  • Own Egnyte's global events calendar and strategy
  • Research, analyze and finalize our annual calendar of global events yearly, working with key stakeholders to confirm their needs are met
  • Define strategy for each tradeshow and event, including pre-, during-, and post-event activities that maximize the return on investment
  • Work closely with product marketing to align messaging with the audience and with corporate marketing to ensure we are maximizing brand awareness at each event
  • Serve as the primary liaison with vendors to ensure all logistics are clearly communicated and documented
  • Run the pre-call meetings with attendees to share event details, including but not limited to, event information, messaging, booth design, demos, collateral, booth staff schedule, promotions running, targets, etc.
  • External speaker/partner engagement: Partner with product marketing on calls with external speakers to ensure that our speaker participants are trained in our event platform and prepared for live events
  • Set the standard for Egnyte event experience - develop playbooks and checklists for all event formats
  • Train both virtual and on-site event staff to ensure Egnyte shows up flawlessly regardless of format
  • Run the debrief call to determine what worked, didn't work and share the findings back to the team so that we optimize future events
  • Provide high-level reporting that can be sent to e-staff on the success of the event
  • Manage event shipping logistics company, gifting platform, and swag vendors
  • Oversee and collaborate with cross-functional event teams across the marketing organization

Your Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience with event management. Global event management is preferred.
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to present event strategy and plans clearly, collect and act on feedback from a broad group of stakeholders
  • Experience with setting campaign ROI metrics, continuous measurement and delivering to plan
  • Ability to work closely with sales organizations
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com, Marketo, Outreach.io, Tableau
  • Strong verbal and communication skills, strong partnership skills
  • Experience managing vendor relationships. Ideally, you have trusted relationships with vendors and venues
  • 25% travel; must be willing to travel internationally

Pay varies by work location and may also be dependent on job-related skills, knowledge, and/or experience.
