Acute Care Clinic ARNP or PA for Outpatient Oncology Practice

Northwest Medical Specialties, PLLC has an exciting new immediate opportunity for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) We are currently recruiting for a compassionate, exceptionally skilled provider (Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ARNPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) with two years of experience in Oncology–recommended) to join our growing team, full time, in caring for South Sound residents in our Tacoma office. Located in downtown Tacoma, our Tacoma office is just a short Northwest Medical Specialties has several office locations with infusion clinics at all of our sites owned by our independent practice, with full laboratory capabilities within the practice. Completion of a four-year accredited physician assistant baccalaureate program and a year of clinical training, OR 2. Completion of a two-year accredited physician assistant program (which, in turn, requires two years of undergraduate study) plus two years of clinical training following completion of PA program. 3. State accreditation based on certifying exam. Continued employment requires 100 hours of continuing medical education every two years and passing a recertification examination every 6 years. 4. Demonstrated competencies in dealing with all age groups including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Or ARNP: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with Master’s Degree and successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program or certification in specialty through approved certifying agency.
