The Registered Nurse (#RN#) will provide compassionate professional nursing care to patients within his/her assigned department consistent with the Medical Center#s mission and core values. The RN will plan, direct and provide care consistent with current best nursing practices, principles of care and procedures. The RN will practice consistently with all Medical Center policies and procedures, government regulations and Joint Commission standards. The RN will coordinate and direct ancillary staff to ensure quality patient care and all other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High school graduate or equivalent Graduate of an OBN accredited School of Nursing Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio BLS required on hire ACLS on hire (for new grad, within six months of hire) Two years of acute care experience preferred Telemetry experience preferred Superior customer service, communication and organizational skills Ability to appropriately document patient care in an electronic medical record Able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation # BENEFITS:* We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package* Medical, Dental, Vision, Long/Short-term Disability, and More.
