Dermatology Nurse Manager

Our client, a premier dermatology practice located in NYC, is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to oversee and organize all clinical operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality of care throughout the company, including the surgical, educational, and clinical department

Responsibilities include:

* Develops and implements specific clinical goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
* Directs and evaluates departmental operations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management.
* Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, new clinical staff onboarding and orientation, and payroll.
* Oversees a team of RNs, LPNs and Medical Assistants including scheduling management and assigning nursing and staff to physician teams
* Organizes and facilitates clinical team meetings.
* Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
* Prepares, monitors, and evaluates the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
* Manages complaints and conflicts through to resolution.
* Provides direct patient care as needed to support the team and the patient experience

Requirements:

* Active NY RN licensure or ability to obtain same in a timely fashion
* At least 3 years of RN experience, with at least 1-2 years of supervisory experience, strongly preferred
* Ability to work well under pressure and lead a strong, interdisciplinary, patient-focused team
* Strong leadership & organization skills, position will be best suited for someone with leadership experience
