JOB SUMMARY
Assists the surgeon during the operative procedure. Maintains a safe and aseptic environment in the Operating Room area.
Will primarily work at Porter Campus and Float to HealthPlex Campus as needed.
Requirements:
EDUCATION:
Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program, achieved national certification in surgical technology preferred, or five consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech.
EXPERIENCE:
Must have completed accredited Surgical Technology program, or must have five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech, or LPN with one year (1) surgical tech preferred. National Certification is preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment. If Certified Surgical Technologist must have current Certification. Current Oklahoma LPN license required if applicable
Will consider Surgical Technologist student within 4 months of graduation.
