Responsibilities

SummitRidge Hospital is located approximately 30 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta. We specialize in the provision of mental health and chemical dependency services. Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) provide caring and professional inpatient nursing support to adults and adolescents suffering from psychiatric or addictive disorders. Additionally, the Geriatric unit provides acute care for seniors in psychiatric crisis. Our in-patient nursing department is led by the Director of Nursing, House Supervisors and includes Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Mental Health Technicians, and Patient Care Technicians. SummitRidge Hospital is committed to continuity of care and does not utilize agency staff, instead we maintain a fully trained PRN pool as needed. Provide direct patient care to patients and assist the Registered Nurse in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for meeting the established standards of nursing practice and collaborating with other members of the health care team. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications;

* Graduate of a state approved school for practical nurses
* Currently licensed as an Licensed Practical Nurse in the State
* Consistently demonstrate Service Excellence
