Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG) is seeking fellowship-trained Cardiac Intensivists to join our well-established Cardiac Surgery Department in Los Angeles. The Cardiac Intensivists work in conjunction with the Cardiac Surgeons in our dedicated CTICU and Cardiac Surgery step down unit for pre-operative and post-operative cardiac surgery patients. The Cardiac Surgery Department currently performs approximately 1500 pump cases per year encompassing all aspects of adult cardiac surgery. Full-time openings (40 hours/week, Monday – Sunday) provide overnight call and weekend coverage of Cardiac Surgery Service.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible / Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
• Special interest in management of cardiac surgery patients with opportunity for development of advanced procedural skills and research

Potential premium earnings are up to $160,956.00. Salaries are inclusive of incentives depending on skills and competencies and geographic location. Potential premium earnings are based on location. Annual Salary is determined by longevity with the Group and full time equivalent (FTE) work schedule/effort.
