Poche Fellow in Melanoma and Surgical Oncology
Applications are invited from qualified General or Plastic Surgeons for the Poche Fellowship in Melanoma and Surgical Oncology.
This program is based at the Melanoma Institute Australia’s North Sydney campus, as well as the Mater Hospital Crows Nest, and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Camperdown.
This position is formatted at a post Fellowship level (FRACS or equivalent) and is suitable for surgeons seeking to develop a vocational interest in the field.
We are offering one clinical and research-based Fellowship, which is for twelve months commencing in February 2026. The Fellowship involves a substantial clinical workload in dedicated outpatient clinics, operating sessions and weekly multidisciplinary meetings.
The Melanoma Institute Australia is one of the world’s largest melanoma services, and access to its internationally respected Melanoma Research Database provides the opportunity to undertake significant research during this Fellowship.
Applications are accepted from Australian and non-Australian candidates.
Fellowships are available from February/March 2026 to February/March 2027. Applications will close October 13, 2024, with interviews November 2024. Role may be open until this date unless a suitable candidate is found in the meantime.
