The Department of Dermatology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is seeking full-time dermatologists to join our faculty and build a career in academic dermatology. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the best homes for academic dermatologists in the country, located in the unique metropolitan Boston area. Candidates must be board eligible or certified in dermatology.

Opportunities include teaching in a variety of clinical settings, interacting with successful colleagues in medical dermatology, developing your own area of expertise within dermatology, and participating in clinical, translational, or basic science research, and developing leadership skills. With access to world renowned services in other areas of medicine, surgery and imaging, our physicians have had great success in creating their own niche, building on examples of our thriving interdisciplinary collaborations, including Complex Medical Dermatology, Dermatology/Rheumatology, Cutaneous Oncology, and many others. The ideal candidate brings enthusiasm and excitement for academic dermatology and seeks to create new knowledge in the field.

Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), located in Boston, MA is a 793 bed teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School (HMS), and a world class tertiary care medical center. The Department of Dermatology at BWH is dedicated to expanding the boundaries of medicine through compassionate clinical care, cutting edge research, and teaching excellence. The BWH Department of Dermatology is an appointing department for the Harvard Medical School Department of Dermatology. Physicians hired will receive faculty appointments from both Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School.  The candidate would be considered for an academic rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School commensurate with experience, achievement, recognition, and teaching.
