Job Title: Open Rank, Clinical Faculty Appointment (CFA)

The Department of Pathology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston is recruiting a Pathologist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor with diagnostic expertise and research interest in gynecologic pathology.

Board certification in Anatomic Pathology and an active Texas medical license or eligibility is required. The candidate’s major responsibility will be Gynecologic Pathology diagnostic service which currently accessions 25,000 cases per year as well as other services, including frozen section, on call service and autopsy coverage. The successful candidate must be able to rotate and travel to Houston area locations for clinical service if required.  Candidates must have a strong interest in independent research and/or collaborative research with clinicians or basic science investigators. Additionally, participation in the teaching of fellows, residents and postdoctoral trainees is required. Salary is commensurate with experience and academic credentials. Excellent benefits package.

Work Location: Hybrid

This position has a target base salary of $201,374 to $417,480 and is eligible for incentive compensation, comprehensive health, wellness, time off, savings, and retirement benefits, as well as relocation support, as applicable.
