Job Title: Hand and Orthopedic Surgeon
Location: Cranston, Cumberland, and East Providence RI
University Orthopedics (UOI) is looking for a Hand and Orthopedic Surgeon to join our growing musculoskeletal provider team. The position involves joining a cohesive 6 physician group covering Roger Williams and Fatima hospitals as well as integrating with the wider 69 physician provider UOI community. Patients will be seen during patient office hours at our Cranston and Cumberland, RI locations. Surgical procedures will be performed at Roger Williams and Fatima hospitals, and at the University Orthopedics East Bay Surgery Center. On-call responsibilities for General Orthopedics at both hospitals are requirements of the position.
Minimum requirements for this position include being Orthopedic board eligible or board certified with fellowship training in Hand Surgery. We will prefer candidates who will prefer a practice in both general Orthopedics as well as in Hand Surgery. Training or experience with a strong clinical background with a commitment to excellence in patient care is required.
