Christ the King, Seattle The Director of Development provides leadership, planning and management of all the advancement functions at Christ the King School in North Seattle. S/he is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive institutional advancement program for the school. This opening is for the 2024-2025 school year and is a full time position. The Director of Development oversees all the fundraising, admissions, enrollment, marketing, communication, and alumni and volunteer activities. All responsibilities are to be in line with the Catholic mission of the school. The Director of Development reports to the Principal.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of professional advancement experience including major gifts, capital campaigns, alumni relations, event management, foundation relations, marketing, and planned giving.
• Ability to effectively articulate the values and mission of Christ the King Catholic School.
• A strong understanding of donor relations, stewardship and fundraising operations.
• Experience with donor management software and applications.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• High attention to detail and managing moving parts of multiple projects.
• Highly self-directed and motivated with excellent organization skills.

May opt for Part time/3 days - pay prorated from annual full-time salary range of $45,000 to 60,000
OR Full-time with benefits and salary range of $60,000 to 80,000
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.

Job Segments:
- Identifies, cultivates, communicates with, and solicits major gifts prospects.
- Oversees capital campaigns consistent with the school strategic plan.
- Develops, implements, and manages planned giving program providing mechanisms for bequests, charitable trusts, and endowments.
- Develops and implements fundraising policies and procedures.
- Develops and oversees donor and prospective donor stewardship programs.
- Oversees the gift giving process and recognition program.
- Responsible for the annual operating budget of the Advancement office.
- Sets the calendar for all fundraising events and oversees all events.
- Ensures comprehensive, accurate constituent, donor and prospective donor records.
- Generates financial reports regarding gifts, grants, and pledges.
- Responsible for the coordination of all volunteers associated with the advancement program.
- Plan and present annual school gala auction event.
- Plan and present annual event for grandparents and guests.
- Serve as the school liaison for parent volunteer groups and other parent activities.
- Responsible for overall student recruitment and admissions process.
- In collaboration with Principal, Pastor and Finance Council, set all advancement and admissions goals and objectives that are clear and measurable and ensure they are met.
- Manage all functions of marketing, communications, website, social media, and media relations for the school.
- Responsible for all grant research, writing and stewardship of foundations and corporations.
- Manage and develop business and corporate relations for the school.
- Attend School Commission meetings and prepare all relevant advancement reports for presentation.
- Present the school open house and related admissions tours, information nights, admission fairs, and related events.
