Job Title Director of Development, College of Public Health Department University Advancement - 62000 Pay Grade 14 Job Category Administrative Job Summary
The Director of Development will play a pivotal role in advancing the mission of ETSU's College of Public Health through philanthropic support. As the primary fundraising leader for the College, you will craft and execute an ambitious strategic plan to increase both the number of donors and total dollars raised each year.
You will build strong relationships with current and prospective donors to cultivate a culture of private support. Through persuasive communication and stewardship, you will inspire individuals and organizations to invest in the College's innovative programs and life-changing work.
Working closely with the College Dean and faculty, you will stay deeply connected to the College's priorities, successes, and needs. This intimate understanding of the College's vision and impact will empower your fundraising conversations. You will also collaborate with University Advancement on select institution-wide initiatives.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a results-oriented development professional to broaden access to public health education and research. As the College's champion for philanthropy, you will play an essential part in improving health outcomes locally and beyond. - Bachelor's degree
- Three to five years of experience in alumni, fundraising, development, or related experience in higher education
