As an Enterprise Account Executive specializing in API security testing, you will be responsible for driving new business sales and managing existing accounts within the Northeast United States. You will target large enterprise clients, focusing on building relationships with IT leaders, security teams, and other key stakeholders to understand their security needs and demonstrate how our API security testing solutions can protect their infrastructure. This role combines a consultative sales approach with deep technical knowledge to guide customers through the purchasing process and ensure they achieve their cybersecurity goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and engage with potential clients in the Northeast region, primarily within the enterprise sector, and qualify leads based on their security needs and potential fit with our solutions.

• Consultative Selling: Develop a deep understanding of API security challenges and requirements to consultatively guide prospective clients toward appropriate testing solutions.

• Pipeline Management: Build and manage a pipeline of enterprise clients to consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

• Product Demonstrations: Conduct virtual and in-person product demos, tailoring them to highlight the impact of API security testing on the client's unique needs.

• Relationship Building: Establish trusted relationships with key decision-makers, including CISOs, IT directors, and security managers, to facilitate product adoption and long-term customer loyalty.

• Market Intelligence: Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging threats in the cybersecurity landscape to inform strategic sales approaches.

• Collaborative Selling: Work closely with the technical and customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support for clients.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years in enterprise sales within the cybersecurity or SaaS industry, preferably with a focus on security testing solutions.

• Proven Track Record: Demonstrable success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in complex, consultative sales environments.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of AppSec, SAST/DAST, API security, penetration testing, and related cybersecurity principles.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Regional Familiarity: Knowledge of the Northeast U.S. market and existing networks within the enterprise space is a plus.
