The Department of Pediatrics seeks an experienced pediatric cardiologist to join the section of Pediatric Cardiology as the Director of Non-Invasive Imaging at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. Through partnership with CHRISTUS Health and Baylor College of Medicine, The Children’s Hospital is the first and only freestanding, academic, not-for-profit children's hospital in San Antonio and serves as a focal point for pediatric services throughout the community and South Texas.
The successful candidate will develop an innovative clinical and educational program, and represent the section in the community, nationally, and internationally. The Section consists of five board-certified pediatric cardiologists including an advanced imaging cardiologist, fetal cardiologist, interventionalist, electrophysiologist, general cardiologist, and a physician assistant. This position is to replace a vacancy created by a relocating faculty member. Clinical time will be devoted to imaging, outpatient and inpatient care, including outreach clinic sessions as well as fetal echocardiography. In this leadership role, candidate will have dedicated Administrative time to develop and implement a comprehensive echocardiographic diagnostic program within the Section of Pediatric Cardiology.

Qualified applicants must have an MD, DO or MD/PhD degree, be BE/BC in Pediatric Cardiology with fellowship in Noninvasive or advanced cardiac imaging and preferably 5-7 years of experience.
