The Nurse Director Emergency Department will work for a 300+ bed regional community hospital that has been delivering excellent patient care to the local population for over 100 years. This medical center remains an independent medical center that is committed to maintaining strong relationships within the community and with its population base. This medical center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and has state-of-the-art services for outpatient, imaging, and home health services among others.

The Nurse Director Emergency Department will lead a 40-bed unit on a floor with a 6:1 nurse to patient ratio. An experienced Assistant Nurse Manager Emergency Department is available on the unit to assist with leadership responsibilities. The Nurse Director Emergency Department will also have oversight over a nearby Freestanding Emergency Department associated with the hospital.

The Nurse Director Emergency Department should be an experienced Nurse Manager ED who is seriously considering moving to South Carolina for a great opportunity to lead an independent health system.
