Responsibilities
The registered professional nurse at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island renders direct and indirect goal-oriented nursing care through the application of the nursing process. He/she functions within the policies, practice guidelines, procedures and physician directives Rehabilitation Hospital and the Department of Nursing in accordance with the Rhode Island Nurse Practice Act, JCAHO, and CARF nursing service standards, and Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island nursing standards of practice. There is potential exposure to open wounds, body fluids, sharps and hazardous materials.
Qualifications
Current RI Nursing License. AHA BLS required. ACLS preferred.
