Preparing for a Career Break

Elite Westchester based medical group seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care in their Urology Office.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain patient history and perform physical exams, order lab and imaging studies, and conduct office procedures and diagnostic tests
  • Coordinating care with patients, families, and other care providers.
  • Interprets laboratory and test results.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, other care providers to ensure optimum quality of patient care and the development of a comprehensive patient care plan
  • Provide continuity of care through the development and implementation of patient management plans. Ensure all follow-up appointments are completed on a timely basis.
  • Respond to patient inquiries, answers question and refers questions to physicians when necessary.
  • Provide health education to patients and families as appropriate.
  • Participate in performance improvement and risk management activities.
  • Work closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care.


Qualifications:
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner
  • Board Certification required
  • BLS and ACLS certification
