Olathe Health Physicians, the physician corporation operating over 30 clinics is currently looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) professional to join our float pool team.
Position Description:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) utilizes the nursing process to coordinate aninterdisciplinary approach to patient care. The LPN is responsible for promoting and restoring patient's health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and team members, and providing physical and psychological support to patients and their families. He/she practices within the boundaries of the Kansas Nurse Practice Act, specialty standards, and organizational/departmental policies and procedures
Position Requirements:
Education:
Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing
Experience:
1-3 years previous healthcare experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills:
Organizational, Verbal Communication, and Lab Competency Testing skills (if applicable) required
License, Registration and/or Certification:
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in accordance with the Kansas Nurse Licensure Compact required
Healthcare Provider CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross ONLY) required within 7 days from date of hire
