Olathe Medical Center, Inc, a 300-bed general acute care facility, is currently looking for an RN - Medical Oncology (Infusion Nurse) professional to join our team.

Position Description:
The Oncology Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care and coordinates the delivery of oncology treatments to assigned patients in a medical oncology facility. Utilizes the nursing process to coordinate the interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Responsible for promoting and restoring patient's health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and team members; and providing physical and psychological support to patients and their families. Exhibits the core values of Olathe Medical Services, Inc., compassion, integrity and unity. He/she practices within the boundaries of the Kansas Nurse Practice Act, specialty standards, and organizational/departmental policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:
2 Year / Associate Degree required
4 Year / Bachelors Degree preferred

1 - 3 Years Clinical experience with at least one year of oncology experience.

Knowledge, Skills:
Organizational and Verbal Communication skills required

License, Registration and/or Certification (if applicable):
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in accordance with the Kansas Nurse Licensure Compact - Required upon hire
Healthcare Provider CPR - (American Heart Association or American Red Cross ONLY) - Required within 7 days from date of hire
Certification in oncology nursing by the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation within 1 1/2 Yrs
Biotherapy/Chemotherapy Card Upon Hire
