Job Description:

Will conduct all activities related to screening patients for COVID19: patient registration in EPIC EMR, insurance verification, point of care test specimen collection/processing, notifying patient of results, educate patient on appropriate next steps based on test results. Additional responsibilities include maintaining infection control and lab processing requirements. Although the role is assigned to one particular location, travel may be required to nearby locations based on screening needs. Contract extension may be possible on a case-by-case basis depending on location and community testing needs. Training and orientation will be provided prior to start.

  • Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent. Completed accredited DOT certificate training program prior to start date. Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills. Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability and flexibility. Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously

  • Completion of a: Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role required. Or, in select states, Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other health-related Master's Degree in conjunction with Bachelors of Science in Physician Assistant Studies) with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the role required.


o Shift Start/End Time: (38 hours)3 week days, every other weekend, M-F 10 hours, Sat 8 hours, Sun 7 hrs. hours are based on location.
