The Nurse Manager of Cardiac Intensive Care Unit CICU and Telemetry will work in a not-for-profit medical center that has served communities in the San Francisco Bay Area for more than 50 years. The Nurse Manager of Coronary Critical Unit and Telemetry will join a team that strives to provide superlative care by focusing on patients' needs by incorporating the latest, proven medical technology and attracting the best medical staff and affiliated physicians.

The Clinical Manager of Cardiac Critical Care Unit and Telemetry will be responsible for the management of nursing practice and operations in the critical care and progressive care unit. The Nursing Manager of CVICU and Telemetry will manage the clinical nursing practice, staff recruitment, retention, labor relations, supply chain and budget, staffing, employee performance evaluation, quality improvement, staff education, internal and external regulatory and survey requirements.

Reporting to the Nursing Director of Critical Care, the Nurse Manager of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit and Telemetry must have at least 5 years of critical care management experience and have experience working with open heart and balloon pump patients in order to be credible with the staff. The CVICU and Telemetry Nurse Manager will have 24 hour responsibility for 25 bed Critical Care Unit and 14 bed Progressive Care (step down) Unit. The critical care unit cares for both medical and surgical patients including the open hearts and neurosurgery
