The Department of Medical and Surgical Gynecology at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a candidate to join its Urogynecology Division. The Division of Urogynecology treats a broad spectrum of pelvic floor disorders including urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary retention, overactive bladder syndrome, urogenital fistulas, urethral diverticula, and congenital anomalies of the urogenital tract, and performs numerous complex pelvic surgeries. A multispecialty approach with specialists from gastroenterology, colorectal surgery, plastic surgery, neurology, urology, pain clinic, physical therapy, and physical medicine and rehabilitation combine to form a comprehensive team for evaluation and management. In addition, physicians work closely with advanced practice providers to provide expert urogynecologic care. This, indeed, is an exciting opportunity for a Urogynecologist to join the practice.

Successful candidates must be strongly engaged in the clinical practice and research pursuits. This will provide ample opportunities to progress in academic rank.

License or certification

Candidates must be board-certified in OB/GYN and FPMRS with advanced fellowship training in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery with special expertise to augment the academic practice and have demonstrated scholarly activity.
