Our Pre-Procedure Unit Registered Nursing team is a committed, caring group of colleagues. We have a passion for creating positive patient interactions. If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next opportunity. We want your knowledge and expertise!

Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pre-Admit Registered Nurse with us:

• You will serve as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care prior to admission and procedure/surgery.

• You will be responsible for obtaining patient history and current medications, ensuring nursing assessment is completed and standard of care initiated.

• You will obtain and/or coordinate pre-admission diagnostic testing (EKGs, Labs, CXR, etc.), and analyze pertinent data, communicate findings, and documents information accurately.

• You will initiate and document pre-procedure/operative instruction and discharge teaching, involving patient and family/significant other.

• You may work telephonically or in-person with the patient.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.

• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

• ACLS Certification.

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.

• One year of experience in PACU, Ambulatory, Critical Care/ED preferred.
