We Are Hiring: Join our family of dedicated, highly valued Registered Nurses at Ascension Macomb - Oakland, Warren, MI!Full Time - Nights/ Float - Rotational to Medical Surgical, Telemetry and Stepdown Units. This position is based at the Warren Campus only.At least 1 year of hospital based RN experience needed. Telemetry experience is highly preferred.Additional Job Details: 7:00pm to 7:30am with rotating weekends and holidays (Additional 8% shift differential) As a Registered Nurse, you are an essential part of our success stories within our Healthcare system. Our Nurses care for patients admitted from Emergency, and patients transferred from ICU/Stepdown, or medical surgical floors requiring telemetry monitoring. If you want to make a difference, we want you!Float Pool PCT's float to any area of the hospital. Newly hired RNs will attend 2 virtual, 1 onsite and require telemetry and ACLS training if not already competent. This helps so one can get acquainted so they're comfortable with each area. What You Will Do: Provide direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare environment in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serve as a coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's care needs with members of the healthcare team.
What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. American Red Cross (ARC) CPR for Professional Rescuers card will be accepted upon hire but renewal must be a BLS Provider card from AHA.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.

Education:
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
